All tax agents in Australia operate under registration with the Tax Practitioners Board.
They have recently updated the obligations that we (as tax agents) and you (as a taxpayer) must comply with when conducting your tax affairs.
We are required to provide this information to you, so please see the TPB – Information for clients factsheet 2025 for your interest.
These obligations do not change our relationship or the professionalism with which we carry out our work for you. It is mainly an attempt to improve the standards of our profession and eliminate unprofessional and unregistered operators.
